Hale and Hearty Soups is a New York City eatery chain with over 20 locations and one of my favorite lunch spots. Hale and Hearty specializes in soups, if you still haven’t guessed, as well as sandwiches and salads. Each day about 15 different soups are served and the menu is different everyday for about four weeks!
Their soups are creamy and delicious, ranging from Tomato Cheddar to Mac & Cheese with Beef to Shrimp Bisque and plenty of vegetarian options. They also serve quite a variety of scrumptious sandwiches, made of the freshest and highest quality ingredients (certainly unlike Subway.) My fave is the Turkey and French Brie on Ciabatta. Yum.
Considering the taste and quality of Hale and Hearty, a meal here is really cheap – from $5 to $8.
This place is ah-mazing! If you ever come across one in the City, give it a try.
