Here's another post-jog smoothie recipe from your loyal jogging blogger. Say that three times fast.
I decided to freeze the mango so I wouldn't have to water the smoothie down with ice. Feel free to use store-bought frozen mangoes, of course. Mangoes are a power food because they are full of vitamins C and A, and fiber and potassium, which makes them very filling.
Procedure: Peel a whole mango and cut into 1" cubes. Place in freezer for 2-3 hours. (Or omit this whole step and use store-bought.) Then blend until smooth, along with 1/2c orange juice and 1/4c milk.
This smoothie has the perfect texture sans chunks of ice, and is a gorgeous, appetizing yellow color.

This sounds delicious and healthy-thanks for a great smoothie idea!
I like the idea of freezing the fruit instead of using ice. Looks delicious.
