FIVE GUYS!

Five Guys is the kind of burger one has to mentally prepare for and calorically plan around. Eating Five Guys may result in: moaning, drooling, euphoria, optimism and complete satisfaction. Five Guys burgers are simply the best.

For those who have been living under a rock/outside the U.S. or have been so unlucky as to not know about Five Guys, I will tell you. Five Guys is a fast food restaurant chain . Their menu consists of burgers (with a choice of over a dozen free toppings) and fries (regular or Cajun style.) The burgers are handcrafted and absolutely divine. The fries are also mind-blowing; they are all-natural and fried in peanut oil.

I was there the other day and thought the experience just wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t blog about it.

I ordered the little bacon cheeseburger (which is so not little) with onions, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled mushrooms and ketchup.

It was delicious, of course, and cooked to perfection. A bit messy to eat but I didn’t mind.

We also had the Cajun style fries.

Not the most sophisticated way to serve a fry, sure, but when it’s so delicious, I can let poor presentation slide. The fries were delicious, soft and crispy and just spicy enough. We shared one order between three people as their portions are very generous.

I don't know who these five guys are but God bless them. If you ever have the chance to try Five Guys, do not let it slip away!

Five Guys!

I went to the Park Slope location over the summer!
And you know me, I rarely eat burgers... but when eating at Five Guys, there is such an intimate atmosphere, so the guilt just washes away... it's as if you and the cow are old college buddies.

And I especially appreciated the free peanuts while you wait, haha.

Did you think it was better than Shake Shack? Or have you ever tried Shake Shake burgers?
